If you are an old age, widow, or disability pension holder in Jammu and Kashmir and haven't received the August installment of Rs. 1000, this blog will guide you through the reason and the new guidelines issued by the government. Under the new rules, you are required to submit a Life Certificate at the concerned social welfare office of your district to continue receiving your pension benefits.

Pension Schemes Available in Jammu and Kashmir

New Guidelines for Pension Holders

  • Mandatory Life Certificate: To continue receiving your pension, it is now mandatory to submit a Life Certificate at your district social welfare office.
  • Submission Deadline: The life certificate must be submitted once a year. Failure to do so will result in the suspension of pension payments.
  • Concerned Department: You must visit the Social Welfare Department Office in your district to submit your certificate in person.
